Happy Winter from Luka and DP

Hi All!

I wanted to take a few minutes to wish everyone a belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I hope the new year will be wonderful for everyone... and for all the flowers, plants, and veggies!

It's been pretty nice in TN. I think if I had done more research into growing winter vegetables, I would have been able to pull it off this year. We've only some extremely cold days, but recently, it's been pretty warm outside!

P.S. Some pictures of Luka from Christmas. She's about 9 months old now (maybe 10).

DP, how great to hear from you. What a good natured cat you have. Mine would be throwing a fit if I asked the to wear a cape for a few minutes.

Hi Everyone,

THanks for the great comments. Luka has gotten very big and very healthy! She's a bundle of joy, but as I've learned, sometimes she's very un-cat-like. I think some days, she secretly wishes she was a dog.

I can't wait to get back to full-time blogging in the spring!

She is so pretty! (and so is her owner:) Love the white spot on her pretty black tummy! We have a solid black boy with a few white hairs on his tummy. Thank you for your kind words, and happy New Year!

Luka "I will kill you in your sleep" expression on her face, the attitude most cats have when being dressed for cuteness,
So Chill out Luka Christmas only comes once a year- deal with it and be cute,
Hope you all had a great christmas and a happy new year!

How in the world did you get Luka to wear clothes? That is so not a cat you have there! Mine would tear out of them while blasting through the house. Love the white belly spot! Sheba has one white whisker now and it is so cute on her little black face...

Here's to a New Year filled with good health and happiness from our Georgia Garden to yours!

Hi Carla,

I've seen a lot of black cats with some hair on their neck and tummy like Luka. It's so cute!

Hey Rob,

Haha! She was so adorable and loved wearing her clothes--at least for a little while.

Hey Skeeter- I think Luka secretly wishes she was a dog, lol. I just slipped the cape on it (it died under her stomach and around her neck) and she was fine with it for several hours. it was like she didn't even notice that it was on... She played in it (with the toy 'da bird' and chased some balls) and she was fine. It was only when she wanted to lick herself, after she was worn out, that she realized she had an outfit on and then she squirmed out of it!

Hi, DP. I recently found your blog when looking for SFG blogs. You seem to have one of the most bountiful SFGs I've read about, and I'm wondering--how many square feet do you have?

Happy Winter & thanks for the good read.

peace,
ami
